On December 6, 2024, members of the Royal Family attended the Christmas Carol Service, Together at Christmas, at Westminster Abbey. It was the fourth Christmas Carol Service hosted by Catherine, the Princess of Wales. She started this special Advent season activity in 2021 to send warm comfort to those whose family members lost their lives during the pandemic.
This year, the Christmas Carol Service was even more meaningful as Catherine herself faced a very challenging health issue when she underwent chemotherapy for her cancer diagnosis after her abdominal surgery in January.Â
