Her Royal Highness Catharina-Amalia, the Princess of Orange graduates from college! She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Politics, Psychology, Law, and Economics (PPLE) from the University of Amsterdam.
This is a double celebration for the Dutch royal family as Amalia's younger sister, Princess Ariane, also graduated from high school recently.Â
According to an Instagram post of the Dutch royal family, "With this ceremony at the Royal Concertgebouw, the university marks the end of the bachelor's program. King Willem-Alexander, Queen Máxima, Princess Beatrix, and Princesses Alexia and Ariane will also be present in the ceremony".
The Princess of Orange's final thesis, "Beyond Disclosure: Bridging the Gap Between the Artificial Intelligence Act and the Charter of Fundamental Rights with Deepfaked Bodies," examines the tension between European fundamental rights and AI legislation.
The palace statement further said: "Due to the Princess's broken arm, one course has been postponed. Therefore, the Princess of Orange will receive her bachelor's degree later".
"In the new academic year, the Princess will begin a bachelor's degree in Dutch Law, also at the University of Amsterdam, and will participate in the Defensity College program".
