Two New Portraits of The Princess Royal to Mark Her 75th Birthday

Buckingham Palace has released two new portraits of Her Royal Highness Anne, The Princess Royal to mark her 75th birthday today, August 15, 2025. Happy birthday! 

Both photos were taken by photographer John Swannell at the princess's private estate, Gatcombe Park in Gloucestershire.

Born Anne Elizabeth Alice Louise on August 15, 1950, Princess Anne is the only daughter and second child of the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. 

Princess Anne was granted the title The Princess Royal by her mother in 1987. She was born third in line to the British throne and now she's currently at 18th place. She has two children from her first marriage: Peter Phillips and Zara Phillips-Tindall.

Often dubbed as the hardest working royal due to the amount of public engagements she undertaken regularly, Princess Anne has been known with her selfless dedication to royal duties and devotion to her public role.
