If there's any indication that everything is all well with the Monegasque princely couple and Princess Charlene's relationship with her sisters-in-law, then it's her presence at this year's Rose Ball. It's one of the highlights of the calendar of activities of the Grimaldi royals in Monaco.

It's also interesting to note that this year is Princess Charlene's first time attending the glitzy event in eight years! She was last seen attending the event in 2016.

This year is also special since Monaco's Rose Ball celebrated its 70 years of establishment. It was founded by Princess Grace in 1954, and 10 years later in 1964, it became a fund-raising charity event for the Princess Grace Foundation.

For years, due to her absence at the Rose Ball, and since this is one of the most important events in the social calendar of the Monegasque royals, Princess Charlene has been intrigued to be not on good terms with Prince Albert II's sisters.

Monaco's Rose Ball remains under the presidency of Princess Caroline. She took over the position in 1982 following the death of her mother in a car accident.

With Princess Charlene's attendance this year, hopefully, all speculations about her relationship with her sisters-in-law will now be put to rest. Everything looks fine with the Monegasque royals.

Other members of the Grimaldi family who attended this year's edition of the Rose Ball, are Prince Albert II, Princess Charlene, and Princess Caroline, Pierre Casiraghi with his wife, Countess Beatrice Borromeo-Casiraghi, Andrea Casiraghi with his wife, Tatiana Sto. Domingo-Casiraghi, Princess Alexandra of Hanover, and Charlotte Casiraghi.

Charlotte and her husband, Dimitri Rassam, are rumored to have separated late last year after four years of marriage, but this rumor has not been confirmed by the couple.

Every year, Princess Caroline spearheaded the event with the help of her friend, fashion designer, Christian Louboutin. Each year the ball has a specific theme, and this year the theme is the Disco era of the 1970s and 1980s.

Princess Charlene looked resplendent in her shimmery outfit in pink and silver with a plunging neckline. She accentuated her sparkly outfit with a pair of dazzling dropped diamond earrings.

The Rose Ball

Established in 1954 by Princess Grace of Monaco, the Bal de la Rose, or the Rose Ball, began as a social event in Monaco but 10 years later, it evolved into a charity event meant to raise funds for the Princess of Grace Foundation.

It is now an annual event that takes place every March in the prestigious Salle des Etoiles at the Sporting Monte-Carlo.

It evolved into a glamorous gathering of the international high society that illuminates Monaco with glitz for an evening of festivities.

The Ball is an internationally recognized charity event with all proceeds going to the Princess Grace Foundation, which aims to help people and children in need by developing humanitarian and philanthropic projects.
