Mary, Crown Princess of Denmark Chic and Stylish in a Four-Year Old Elegant Dress

Today, Mary, the Crown Princess of Denmark, opened the exhibit, "Mary and the Crown Princesses" in Koldinghus Copenhagen, Denmark, on the occasion of her 50th birthday on February 5, 2022.

The exhibit celebrates her life as a Danish Crown Princess and those of other Crown Princesses who eventually became Queen Consort: Queen Louise (wife of King Christian IX), Queen Lovisa (wife of King Frederick VIII), Queen Alexandrine (wife of King Christian X) and Queen Ingrid (wife of King Frederick IX and the mother of Queen Margrethe II).

The exhibit features crown jewels, clothes and other artifacts belonging to Mary and her four predecessors. It also presents a peek on the lives of the Crown Princess and the last four Queen Consorts.

The Mary and the Crown Princesses exhibit runs from February to December 2022

Princess Mary was accompanied by her husband, Crown Prince Frederick, aunt, Princess Benedikte, and the Queen's cousin, Count Ingolf of Rosenberg and his wife, Countess Sussie.

What made noticeable in Princess Mary's fashion was the elegant dusty pink dress she wore. She previously donned the pretty coat dress during an official visit to Riga, Latvia with Prince Frederick in 2018.

Despite already four years old, the dress still looked chic, gorgeous and stylish. But unlike in 2018, Princess Mary didn't wear the felted matching pillbox.

New official portraits

The Danish royal palace also released new official portraits of the Crown Prince and Crown Princess to mark her 50th birthday celebration on Saturday, February 5, 2022.
