Stunning Details of the Dining Room and Table Setup at Swedish Palace's Representation Dinner

The Swedish royal family, headed by His Majesty, King Carl XVI of Sweden, hosted today a representation dinner at The Royal Palace in Stockholm, the official residence of the monarch of Sweden.

The royal couple invited more than 150 guests from the diplomatic corps, parliament and government authorities, representatives from science, sports, military, business and culture, as well as people  the Royal Family met on their travels in the country.

Present are members of the House of Bernadotte: The King and Queen, The Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel Westling, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia. The king's youngest child, Princess Madeleine, is based in the United States and did not attend the event.

Evening Fab Details

The royal family members donned their finest royal regalia, while the dining room is filled with elegance and opulence.  

The dinner table is set in Brazilian silver server and liner from Ireland, which was a gift to the king's grandfather, King Gustaf VI Adolf, in 1959.

The food is served on porcelain from Hackman-Rorstrand, a gift to the king on his 50th birthday (1996). While drinks are served in an ice cream service from Kosta that the royal couple received as a wedding gift in 1996.

The flower decorations are carried out in spring arrangements with, among other things, tulips and scabiosa.
