A family affair! Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall commissioned her stepdaughter-in-law, Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge to take her photos for the cover of Country Life magazine's July issue.
She will be the guest editor for Country Life magazine's special commemorative edition. This special issue will mark the magazine's 125th anniversary and the 75th birthday of the Duchess. Camilla's actual birthday is on the 17th day of July.
The Duchess of Cornwall was snapped sitting down on a bench, holding a basket of beautiful pelargoniums. She looked summery in a powder blue dress and a matching cardigan.
In keeping with the garden theme, her dress was decorated with little white flowers. The white flowers also boasted flecks of pink which added a further pop of color to the dress.
For the photoshoot session, Kate wore a salmon-hued, cargo-inspired blazer by Chloe, paired with straight leg denim jeans, and matching leather sneakers courtesy of the sustainable Spanish brand, Veja.

It's beautifully snapped! We love how the Duchess of Cornwall looked relaxed and at home in the photos. Kate perfectly captured the character and atmosphere of the environment.
Nature and countryside living are two favorite subjects of Kate in photography. She often captured Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis chasing butterflies and having fun in the countryside.
She is a keen photographer and is a patron of the Royal Photographic Society. She regularly takes charge of the photos, even the official portraits, of her children, rather than relying on court photographers.

Today, the Country Life Magazine finally published the special edition where the Duchess of Cornwall is the guest editor.
John Williams, the executive chef of The Ritz London demonstrated how the dish is prepared and cooked, in a video clip filmed by Philip Sowels for Country Life Magazine.
A Keen Photographer
Back then, the former Kate Middleton aspired to become a professional photographer. In 2006, after she quit her job (her only recorded employment prior to the royal wedding in 2011) as an accessory buyer in Jigsaw, a clothing store in London, she took a crash course in photography.
She assisted her mother as a photographer for Party Pieces, her parents' party supplies business in Berkshire, between 2006 to 2009.
In the late part of 2009, she moved to Anglesey, Wales. to live with Prince William, who was serving as a search-and-rescue operation pilot in the Royal Air Force and was stationed in Anglesey.
Some of the photos taken by the Duchess of Cambridge
The Duchess of Cambridge loves to take photos of the gardens and nature. And she is so good at capturing the vibe of the outdoor life. So this snap of the Duchess of Cornwall for a magazine cover is a perfect job for her.
Mark Hedges, Editor in Chief of Country Life magazine, said via The Express: “We are thrilled to have our Guest Editor captured so magnificently by royal photographer The Duchess of Cambridge. We understand this is the first time a formal portrait of The Duchess of Cornwall has been taken by The Duchess of Cambridge for a magazine and we are honored to have been chosen to be the first to publish this beautiful photograph. The photographs are superb and we would be delighted to offer The Duchess of Cambridge another commission!”
Camilla's Country Home in Wiltshire
The setting of this photo session was the Raymill House, the country home of the Duchess of Cornwall in Wiltshire, just a few miles away from Prince Charles's country home, Highgrove.
The stunning country home mansion was purchased by Camilla at a reported cost of £850,000 in 1996, two years after her divorce from her first husband, Andrew Parker Bowles.
She lived there between 1996 to 2003. The mansion boasted six bedrooms, a terrace, a swimming pool, and a pond.
In 2003, she moved to Clarence House in London to live with Prince Charles. The Prince of Wales occupied the Clarence House as his official London residence following the death of his grandmother, the Queen Mother, in 2002.
Charles and Camilla got married in April 2005, but she kept Raymill House and continue using it as her country home when she wants to relax away from the royal life.
