Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and his wife, Crown Princess Mary, are currently in New York City for the 77th UN General Assembly, but attended separate activities. They both left Denmark a day after Crown Prince Frederik accompanied his mother, Queen Margrethe II, to the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II in London.
The Crown Prince couple participated in a series of official events in the Big Apple separately. While Crown Prince Frederik takes part in the 77th UN General Assembly with the Danish government delegates, Crown Princess Mary attended a series of engagement related to sustainability development and biodiversity in her capacity as president of WWF World Nature Foundation.

Representatives of the United Nations' member states gathered for the 77th time for the annual opening of the UN’s General Assembly in New York. The Crown Prince and Crown Princess will participate in a series of events related to the international launch of Denmark’s candidacy for a seat on the UN Security Council in 2025-2026. And meetings with special focus on themes within the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the associated 17 global goals.

The Crown Prince also attended a sustainable food event in New York together with the Danish Consulate General. The event: Sustainable Food: How Alternative Food Production and Consumption Can Combat Climate Change, was part of the climate meeting, "Citizen Sustainability Summit", organized by the Consulate General with the UN General Assembly.

The sporty prince who regularly participated in the Road Run in Denmark, was accompanied by UN ambassador, Martin Bille Hermann, and the UN Ambassadors' Running Club.
While his wife, the Crown Princess, attended separate events that have something to do with sustainability programs, biodiversity, and fight against plastic pollution in New York City.

Crown Princess Mary attended the launching of the Global Plastics Treaty Business Coalition at the Scandinavia House in New York City, this organization aims to mobilize business that eliminates and reduces plastic waste and pollution both in land and water.
She also received a briefing about the Danish Security Council candidacy from Denmark's UN Ambassador, Martin Bille Hermann, and held a meeting about the global work within the environment and biodervisty agenda.
In the sunny New York, the stylish Crown Princess Mary beamed brightly with her chic fashion as she walked on foot along the Park Avenue for her visit to the Scandinavia House.

During her appearance at the National Security application briefing, Crown Princess Mary donned an elegant black dress with a slit in the bodice from Bash Paris, a pair of beige leather pumps from Prada, a gold cuff bracelet from Rebekka Notkin jewelry, and other pieces from Dulong Fine Jewelry collection.
Crown Princess Mary wore a black floral ensemble from Rochas Paris during a meeting with US President Joe Biden at The American Museum of Natural History in New York.
Later in the week, the Crown Prince couple will participate in a reception where the Danish candidacy for the UN Security Council in 2025-2026 will be formally launched to an international audience, according to the Royal House of Denmark.
