Infanta Sofia rocked a stylish fashion in a fluffy dress that gave her a sophisticated, sexy look, but retained her youthful and teenage appearance by pairing her dress with a pair of ballet rose navy suede pumps from Mathilda shoes. In all her public appearances, we have noticed that Infanta Sofia rarely wore a pair of earrings and just kept her look simple. She also clearly inherited her father's height.

The Colonial Reminder

The National Holiday in Spain commemorates its social heritage, Hispanic ties to the Americas, and cultural impact. It also marks Spain's special moment in Hispanic history when on October 12, 1492, Christopher Columbus, an Italian navigator in service of Spain, discovered the Americas and began the Spanish colonization period in many parts of the world.

A key point of Spain's overseas influence and legacy to the world and to the Americas in particular. It symbolizes Spain's vast, common heritage with today's American countries, which made up the Spanish Empire, the first global power in world history. The date is also an official holiday in much of Hispanic America, though under varying names.
