On October 20, 2022, Her Serene Highness, Princess Charlene of Monaco visited SPA (Society for the Protection of Animals)Â de Monaco in Peille to attend a meeting with animal shelter staff.Â
In an instagram post accompanying her photo caressing a rescue puppy, she pleaded to everyone to "please support local SPA or animal shelter near you".

Wearing Akris ensembles - wool knit sweater and brown trousers - which she paired with flat shoes from Christian Louboutin, the mother of two, toured the enclosure accompanied by the SPA staff and was seen caressing rescue dogs.Â

Princess Charlene is an animal protection advocate and has a foundation in South Africa that aims to protect white rhinos. She has been appointed by her husband, Prince Albert II of Monaco, as Honorary President of SPA of Monaco during the laying of foundation for SPA's building in Peille last month, September.
