In a heartfelt move to honor their late grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, on Remembrance Day, Their Royal Highnesses Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie made a joint public engagement by visiting the Royal British Legion Industries or RBLI community.

The RBLI, a charity meant to help the war veteran community with employment support, and home and welfare support, is closest to the hearts of the Queen, as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and Prince Philip, as a war veteran. The Queen was also the patron of the Royal British Legion for 70 years.

During the Queen's death, the Royal British Legion Industries shared that Her Majesty's association with the community has been monumental to the developments in supporting military veterans and their families.

The Queen's final visit was in 2019 when she visited RBLI's village in Aylesford to meet several veterans and presided over the opening of the community care home. She also launched the second phase of the centenary village veteran's community.

The visit of the Queen's granddaughters days before Remembrance Day to honor the veterans reinforced the late Queen's strong association with the community.

In an instagram post, RBLI was grateful for Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie's visit. "We would like to thank them for taking their time to see RBLI's vital care, welfare, and employment services delivered to Armed Forces veterans across the UK".

RBLI also added, "The Princesses came to meet the veterans who have completed RBLI's lifeworks employability program after supporting the course earlier in the year at the Big Curry Lunch. While here, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie met veterans in our social enterprise factory, Britain's Bravest Manufacturing Co., and saw the range of Remembrance Tommy products".

In her own instagram post, Princess Eugenie on her part also felt honored to visit the charity, saying "It was such an honor to visit RBLI with my sister earlier this week.

"We met incredible veterans who have completed RBLI's lifeworks employability program. It was wonderful to see the program in action at the charity's social enterprise factory which provides meaningful employment for veterans".

Princess Eugenie added that they also visited the assisted living facility, Queen Elizabeth Court, to meet some of the residents who call it home, "many of whom have served our country with distinction. I also met Vi, who told me she served with my late grandmother, which brought me such pride".

Remembrance Day or Armistice Day is annually commemorated in every part of the world as a day to remember the sacrifices of war veterans, Fallen soldiers, and those currently serving in the military across the world.

World War I ended on November 11, 1918, on the western front through the signing of the armistice in Compiegne Forest, Germany, to end the war.

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, who currently occupied 9th and 11th places respectively in the line of succession to the British throne, are not working royals.

They do not take public duty on behalf of the monarchy and are not receiving allowances from the government, but they are involved in various charities and occasionally conduct visits to different foundations.

Currently, Princess Beatrice is one of the state counselors of their uncle, King Charles III.
