This year's Christmas celebration in Sandringham is a little different for the British royal family. And King Charles III led his family to another chapter. Continuing the royal tradition of walking to the church on Christmas day.
It was the first time that they gathered for the festive season without their matriarch, Queen Elizabeth II, who died in September this year.Â

It was also the first time that the Royal Family resumed this tradition due to the pandemic. Their last walkabout to the church was in 2019 when both Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh were still alive.

His disgraced younger brother, Prince Andrew, the Duke of York who stepped back from public life in 2020, was part of the royal walkabout to the church. He walked beside his younger brother, Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex, and James, Viscount Severn, son of Prince Edward.

Prince Louis made his debut attending the church service at St. Magdalene church with the Royal Family on Christmas day.Â
Instead of wearing trousers, the traditional wear of young princes when attending a church service, the four-year-old prince wore a long coat dress similar to the dress worn by his older sister, Princess Charlotte. His older brother, Prince George was in a navy blue suit, just like their father, Prince William.

Prince Louis, who amused fans during his balcony appearance at Trooping the Colors in June this year, did not disappoint with his walkabout debut.Â
His animated facial expression once again delighted fans and he won hearts with his outfit. He is always the adorable royal child who never failed to impress royal fans.Â
At 3:00 in the afternoon, the Royal Family members gathered in front of the television to watch King Charles III deliver his first Christmas speech during his reign.
