In her own words, Princess Charlene said about the foundation:

"Too many children die from drowning every year because they don’t know how to swim yet just a few swimming lessons could save their lives and help them to feel more comfortable and confident in the water.

My foundation is orientated towards these children who can become responsible adults if we show them the way through the values of sport and solidarity; so together, we can help these young athletes to succeed".

Since the National Day celebration in November, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene are the busiest royal couple in Europe as they attended successive public events.

They spearheaded the distribution of gifts and Christmas goodies to the beneficiaries of the Monaco Red Cross and organized a kiddie party for the 8th birthday of their twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.
