The Luxembourgian Chaumet Diamond Tiara can be worn as a choker necklace and her mother often worn it with pearls atop the diamond spikes.
The groom, who came from Brittany, France, wore a morning suit and accompanied by his mother to the church. The religious wedding ceremony came a week after the civil ceremony in Luxembourg.Â
Princess Alexandra's nephews, Prince Charles and Prince Liam served as page boys while her niece, Princess Amalia, served as one of the flower girls.Â
It's the first royal wedding from the reigning royal house in Europe this year. However, it's not the first royal wedding in the world this year. Princess Azemah of Brunei came first in January followed by Princess Iman of Jordan in March.Â

Princess Alexandra was not in the line of succession to the Luxembourgian throne until 2011 when her father changed the Succession Law to Absolute so that his only daughter could be included in the line of succession. Currently, Princess Alexandra is 7th after the birth of her nephew, Prince Francois in March this year.Â
