The month of May is so far the busiest month of Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan when it comes to family matters as they celebrate important family events.
Family first for the King and Queen of Jordan as they attended two graduation ceremonies for their two youngest children.Â

Princess Salma, 22, obtained a degree in BA Archeology. Before she attended the USC, she completed a military training from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the UK. And later became the first female jet pilot in the Jordanian Armed Forces in 2020.Â
On May 22, Queen Rania hosted a Henna Party for Miss Rajwa Al Saif, a week before her wedding to Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan.

Henna Party is a traditional pre-wedding party given to a Muslim bride in Asia and attended by her closest female friends and female family members.
It's similar to a bridal shower in the Western culture where female guests shower the bride-to-be with gifts, however, the Henna Party is more elaborate and formal.Â

Miss Rajwa Al Saif wore an exquisite bespoke white gown with gold embellishments designed by Honayda from Saudi Arabia.Â
Inspired by the Najdi dress in Saudi Arabia, the design meant to pay tribute to Rajwa's family background and cultural heritage.

On May 24, King Abdullah II and Queen Rania, with their three children - Crown Prince Hussein, Princesses Iman and Salma, attended the high school graduation of their youngest child Prince Hashem at King Academy School in Madaba, near Amman, Jordan.Â

On June 1, 2023, Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan will wed Rajwa Al Saif in a ceremony anticipated as the most glittery royal wedding this year.Â
