Three Royal Couples Are in Germany to Attend the Anniversary of Nordic Embassies

On October 21, 2024, King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Mariet of Norway, and Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden had a joint engagement in Berlin, Germany for the 25th anniversary of the Nordic embassies in the country. Other Nordic heads of state also attended the gala reception: President Alexander Stubb of Finland and President Halla Tómasdóttir of Iceland.

They attended a gala reception hosted by the President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, accompanied by his wife, at Bellevue Palace in Berlin.

It was the first German visit of King Frederik X and Queen Mary since His Majesty's accession to the Danish throne. On the last day of their visit to Germany, the King and Queen traveled north to Schleswig-Holstein, to visit the Danish minority.
