The Princess of Wales, who announced recently that she had completed her chemotherapy due to her cancer diagnosis, attended her first major ceremonial events after chemo treatment. She looked radiant in a black ensemble as she joined members of the royal family at the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on November 9, 2024.
She smiled as she arrived with her husband, Prince William, at the venue as if telling the public everything is fine. Queen Camilla was not present at this weekend's Remembrance Day events due to her chest infection and she was advised to just take enough rest.Â

Kate's demeanor was full of positivism and had no trace of whatever discomfort or distress she might have suffered the past months. Her glam team successfully transformed her into a radiant and confident woman for that evening.Â
The public also noticed she wore her sapphire engagement ring again. It's been a while since we last saw her wear the precious ring as she replaced it with an old ring many suspected a gift from Prince William during the earl stage of their marriage.
On Sunday, November 10, just a day before the actual Armistice Day anniversary, Kate joined the royal family at the Remembrance service in the Cenotaph and stood on the balcony of the foreign office with the Duchess of Edinburgh, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, the Duke of Kent, and Sir Timothy Laurence, to watch the events.
The King, The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Edinburgh, and The Princess Royal laid a wreath of poppies to pay tribute to the fallen and glorious heroes during the wars. A minute of silence was observed before the start of the ceremony.Â
Kate wore earrings from Queen Elizabeth II's jewelry collection.
