Princess Iman of Jordan Gives Birth to Her Eldest Child

Her Royal Highness Princess Iman of Jordan, the eldest daughter of King Abdullah II of Jordan and Queen Rania, gave birth to her eldest child with Venezuelan-born financier, Jameel Thermiotis. On Sunday, February 16, the Jordanian Royal Family shares the happy news of the arrival of their newest member, Amina Thermiotis. Congratulations!

Both Queen Rania and Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan took to instagram to express their joy and excitement over the birth of Amina. The family then went to the hospital to visit Princess Iman and meet the infant royal.

Crown Prince Hussein and his wife, Princess Rajwa, brought along their daughter, Princess Iman, who was born in August 2024. Crown Prince Hussein wished that her daughter and Amina would grow up together like sisters who would support each other.

Amina is the second grandchild of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania after Princess Iman. However, the little cousins are not in the line of succession to the Jordanian throne as the succession laws limit eligible successors to men only. Currently, the third in line of succession is Prince Hashem, the younger brother of the Crown Prince.

Amina is the second royal member to be born in February 2024. On February 7, Princess Sofia of Sweden gave birth to her fourth child and first daughter, Princess Ines, who is 8th in the line of succession to the Swedish throne/
