Emperor Naruhito of Japan

The Chrysanthemum throne is the royal house of Japan. In 2019, Japanese Emperor, Akihito abdicated in favor of his eldest son, Naruhito. His wife is Empress Masako, a former Japanese diplomat. They have an only child, Princess Aiko. Japan still maintained an ancient law of succession that prohibits females and its descendants from succeeding the throne, thus the emperor successor is not his daughter but his brother, Prince Fumihito.

King Abdullah II of Jordan and Queen Rania

The royal Hashimite house is the reigning house in Jordan and the current monarch is King Abdullah II, born on January 30, 1962. He has been on the throne since 1999. His successor is his eldest son, Crown Prince Hussein. King Abdullah II is married to Queen Rania since 1993, born Rania Al-Yassin in Kuwait.

The king is half-British, his mother, born Antoinette Avril Gardiner, is from Suffolk, England. She became Princess Muna A;-Hussein upon married to King Hussein in 1961. They divorced in 1972. After the divorce, she was allowed to continue using the style Her Royal Highness and Princess. 

Princess Haya, the controversial royal who has an on-going conflict with her husband, the ruler of Dubai, is King Abdullah II's younger half-sister.
