It has been the tradition of the Dutch Royal Family to have an annual summer photoshoot taken in The Hague. This year, their photoshoot takes earlier than usual due to their busy schedules. Normally, they have their photos taken in the month of July before they depart for their summer holiday.Â

Summer vibe
Queen Maxima is a vision of a vibrant summertime in her asymmetric green midi dress, while her eldest daughter, the Princess of Orange opted to wear a black maxi dress in floral-print by Diane Von Furstenberg. The dress featured a v-neck, front buttons, and a front split.
Princess Alexia is consistent with her fashion style in wearing trousers. Last year, the princess also donned green pants for their summer photoshoot. This year, she picked a cool shade of light green terno pants.
The youngest, Princess Ariane, seems to favor the mini-dress style lately. She loves to show her girly side with the dresses she wore at recent public events.Â
For their summer photoshoot, Princess Alexia wore a white shirt dress from Sandro, which she paired with a pair of sexy espadrilles in a nude canvas rose gold pattern.

King Willem-Alexander makes sure he has his own style to show. He wore a smart light brown suit and a blue shirt.
We're used to seeing King Willem-Alexander's family doing fun poses during their summer photoshoot, however, this year, the angles are quite formal. The girls have truly grown up.

The Princess of Orange will start her studies at the university this autumn. She chose to attend a university in Amsterdam than study abroad like her sister, Princess Alexia, who is currently attending classes at UWC Atlantic in Wales, UK.
