Spanish Princesses, Leonor, the Princess of Asturias, and her younger sister, Infanta Sofia, just made their first joint public engagement overseas without their parents.

The daughters of King Felipe VI of Spain and Queen Letizia traveled to the United Kingdom on July 16, Saturday to show support to the Spanish women's football team in the UEFA Women's Euro 2022.

The Princess of Asturias, 16, and the Infanta Sofia, 15, attended the group stage of the UEFA Women's Euro 2022 game between Denmark and Spain at the Brentford Community Stadium in London.

The Spanish women's football team won the match against the Danish team 0-1, which made them advance to the quarterfinals of the UEFA Women's Euro 2022.

According to the spectators who were at the venue, the Spanish princesses were attentive during the game, which kept the tension until the end when Spain's Marta Cardona was able to do a last-minute goal against the Danish team.

With the win, Spain will play against England in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Women's Euro 2022. Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia were obviously delighted with the Spanish women's quarterfinals advancement.

While in the stadium, the royal sisters could be seen applauding and chatting with Luis Rubiales, president of the Royal Spanish Soccer Federation, before immersing themselves in the exciting match.

They were also offered a personalized jersey each with both #10 imprinted on the jersey. We are not certain if the royal sisters love soccer/football as they haven't seen in the past gracing the same event, but from the look on their faces during the match, they are obviously enjoying the event.

They were seen behind the scenes, meeting the members of the Spanish football team, and later posed for pictures with them.

The Spanish royal sisters kept their looks simple for their first international public engagement. Princess Leonor opted to wear a pair of fuchsia pants combined with a sleeveless black blouse, a pair of black shoes, and clutch.

While Infanta Sofia donned a loose-fitting printed silk long-sleeved, black plants and a pair of Navy suede ballerina pumps.

It's their first joint overseas official trip. And without the company of their parents, who remained in Spain to attend to a series of public engagements.

The Princess of Asturias is currently on a summer break from her studies at the Atlantic College in Wales so she is quite familiar with the England scenery and would be a great tour guide to her younger sister.
