Swedish Future Queen Opens September by Performing Royal Duties Two Days in a Row

The Crown Princess of Sweden, Victoria, Duchess of Västergötland, looked casual chic as she began the month of September in a busy mode. The future Swedish monarch was in her usual element as she performed royal duties two days in a row.

On September 1, she stepped out in a joint public engagement with her mother, Queen Silvia. They attended the Nordic Archive Days in Stockholm hosted by the National Archive of Sweden.

The purpose of the conference was to promote information about management and archive activities in the Nordic Countries. The theme of the conference, "Archive and Society", highlighted the archive sector's mission to preserve and secure archives for the future.

Crown Princess Victoria looked vibrant in a fuchsia pleated midi skirt, with green details, and white tailored tweed jacket. She paired her outfit with eye-catching bright green leather pumps from Gianvito Rossi.

On September 2, The Swedish Royal Court shared video footage of Crown Princess Victoria visiting the Osmund wreck outside Dalaro in the Stockholm archipelago.

According to the Swedish Royal Court, the Osmund wreck was discovered in 2017 while the Swedish marine archaeologists were conducting dives in the north of Dalarö.

They found a shipwreck from the 16th century loaded with semi-finished wrought iron. The archaeologists and researchers were studying the elements of the shipwreck when the Crown Princess heard about it, and thus, decided to visit the team.

During her visit, Crown Princess Victoria joined the vessel crew and researchers aboard the vessel, M/S Ofararen, and witnessed live diving of the wreck on site.
