Members of the British royal family attended the National Service of Remembrance today, November 13. King Charles III, The Prince of Wales, The Earl of Wessex, and The Princess Royal laid wreaths at the Cenotaph.
Other members of the royal family - Queen Camilla, Catherine, the Princess of Wales, The Countess of Wessex, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent, Princess Alexandra, and Sir Tim Laurence, watched the service from the Foreign Commonwealth Office balcony.

It has been the tradition also that during Remembrance Day, the Royal British Legion, a charity founded to honor the veterans, would march past the 10,000 veterans. This year, Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex took the salute.

Laying wreaths at the cenotaph war memorial in London during Remembrance Sunday is a solemn ceremony honoring and remembering those who died in the war.

Both the King and his son, the Prince of Wales, wore their Royal Air Force military uniforms.Â
It was noticeable also that King Charles III still used the monogram of his late mother on his shoulder.

Queen Camilla wore a brooch that symbolized her military regimental as Colonel-in-Chief of The Rifles, which she took over from Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh in July 2020.

Catherine, the Princess of Wales, wore Princess Diana's jewelry, the South Sea Pearl earrings. She also wore a new black ensemble, an Evie coat dress from Catherine Walker. Sophie, the Countess of Wessex wore a black coat also from Catherine Walker.

Royal family members traditionally wore ak poppy pin during Remembrance Day. These red floral pins have been the traditional symbols worn by the British royals in commemorating war heroes and military members who have died in wars.Â
