As you all know, royal watchers are always curious about everything "royal", their lifestyle, hobbies, and what they are wearing. 😄Â
So one delicate piece of jewelry that royal watchers could not stop discussing is this stunning diamond brooch that the new Princess of Wales debuted on Remembrance Sunday at the Cenotaph Whitehall.
The classic diamond brooch, which Catherine pinned below her three red poppies, matches the pair of earrings she wore, the South Sea Pearl Earrings, originally owned by Diana, Princess of Wales.

It's a new piece! And no one knew about the provenance of this diamond brooch. It's also the first time that Catherine wore a brooch that's not loaned from the royal jewelry collection.

Some royal observers speculated this new diamond brooch, which is a classic Art Deco design made of diamonds and set in platinum, was a gift to Catherine on her 40th birthday in January this year considering the timing of how this brooch became known in public.
According to Couture and Royals on instagram, this Art Deco diamond brooch was auctioned by Bentley Skinner in January 2022, and valued at £14,500.

It is comprised of a central round brilliant-cut diamonds with an estimated weight of 0.35 carat, with a baguette-cut diamond to the top and bottom of the rectangle. It has an estimated weight of 11.4 grams.
We hope to gather more information about this new brooch. We are also glad to see a new piece of jewelry has been added to the royal jewelry collection. And hope to see Catherine wear this brooch in future public engagements.
