"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" at Clarence House! The Queen Consort, Camilla, continued her annual Christmas tradition of inviting children from charities to take part in the Christmas Tree decoration at Clarence House.

Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla still use Clarence House as their London residence while Buckingham Palace apartments are being renovated.

On December 7, Wednesday, the Queen Consort, wearing a bright red dress (a repeat from her magazine cover shoot), welcomed children from Helen and Douglas House, a charity caring for terminally ill children and babies, and Roald Dahl Charity, a foundation that aims to help seriously ill children.

The children were accompanied by their parents and nurses. The guests were also thrilled to get a performance by the Band of the Welsh Guards, and a special surprise visit from Father Christmas and his reindeer.

Queen Camilla personally attended the festive moment by greeting everyone and asking them,  "Everybody's got everything?" and "Are you enjoying yourselves?"

The party was part of a holiday event that Queen Camilla throws for the two charities for which she is the patron. Helen & Douglas House is the world's first children's hospice in Oxfordshire that provides medical, emotional, and practical support for seriously ill children and their families. While Roald Dahl's Marvelous Children's Charity is a charity that helped seriously ill children lead memorable life.

Mother Kieri Dainty from Oxfordshire, who was a guest at the party along with her 8-year-old daughter Gwendolyn, described the day as "amazing." "It's lovely that she's still doing all the charity work," she said of Camilla. "What was important before is still important now."

"It's always a treat for me to start Christmases here, it literally kicks it off for us," the Queen Consort said in a speech.

It's the sixth year that the Queen Consort hosted the said activity at Clarence House, which brought so much excitement to children.

After the fun activities of decorating the Christmas Tree, the children were given festive surprises and were treated to a sumptuous lunch prepared by the palace chef.

"Having enjoyed a delicious lunch of sausage and mash, the children were entertained by the Band of the Welsh Guards, and not forgetting a surprise appearance from Father Christmas and his reindeer Dancer and Blitzen!"

For the occasion, Queen Camilla wore a bright red dress from Fiona Clare Aldridge. The same dress she wore for the Goodhouse Keeping magazine cover shoot. She paired her outfit with black suede boots.

The Royal Family's social media accounts also revealed that the Queen Consort will be the new cover of Good Housekeeping, a lifestyle magazine in the UK, to celebrate its 100th anniversary.

In a magazine cover posted by the Royal Family, Camilla looked resplendent in a red coat dress adorned with a ballerina brooch. She stood before the sparkling fir tree.

The Queen Consort will discuss the work of the domestic abuse charity Safe Lives to raise awareness of their advocacy and activities.

The issue will also include commentaries from Catherine, the Princess of Wales, the Princess Royal, Princess Alexandra, Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, and Birgitte, the Duchess of Gloucester, who will discuss the highlights of their own advocacies.

Happy Holidays everyone!
