Today, December 10, 2022, the twins of Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco, the Hereditary Prince Jacques, and Princess Gabriella turn eight years old. Happy birthday!Â
Prince Jacques Honoré Rainier Grimaldi, Marquis of Braux, and Gabriella Thérèse Marie Grimaldi, Countess of Carlades, were born on December 10, 2014, at the Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco.Â
Prince Jacques was born two minutes after his sister, but because Monaco still follows the male-preference primogeniture succession, he is his father's heir apparent to the Monegasque throne. The kids are growing up so fast!

Upon birth, Prince Albert II granted his children aristocratic titles. Marquis of Braux for Prince Jacques and Countess of Carlades for Princess Gabriella. The Sovereign Prince himself has another aristocratic title that is less known to the public, Duke of Valentinois.
The twins were baptized on May 10, 2015, at Saint Nicholas Cathedral in Monaco and were awarded the Grand Cross (for Prince Jacques because he is the Crown Prince, and Grand Officer for Princess Gabriella), of the Order of Grimaldi.
