King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia Award Honorary Ambassadors of Spanish Brand

Their Majesties King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain presided over the award ceremony of the Accreditations corresponding to the tenth edition of "Honorary Ambassadors of the Spain Brand", at the Royal Palace in Madrid.

It is an initiative of the Forum of Renowned Spanish Brands (FMRE). It aims to publicly recognize people, companies or institutions that have contributed more and better, with their exemplary professional career, to strengthening a positive image of Spain abroad. With this tenth promotion, Spain already has 70 active Honorary Ambassadors, in 7 different categories.

This year's recipients are Jose Manuel Entrecanales (Business Management), Luis Rojas Marcos (Social Action), Patricia Urquiola (Art and Culture), Carmen Riu (Tourism and Gastronomy), Teresa Perales (Sports) and Begoña Vila (Science and Innovation).

This recognition is based on the value that the "Honorary Ambassadors of the Spain Brand" contribute to the Spanish brand and reputation for their international prestige, and the impact that their career and performance can have globally.
