This cute royal tot who is second in line to the Luxembourgian throne was the first royal from the reigning royal house to be born in the time of the coronavirus pandemic.

He was born on May 10, 2020, during the lockdown, and now he is almost three years old, which reminds us that it's been three years since our lives have been disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prince Charles of Luxembourg is the eldest child of Prince Guillaume and Princess Stephanie, the Hereditary Grand Duke and the Hereditary Grand Duchess of Luxembourg. He was born less than eight years after his parents wed in October 2012.
Next month, April, Princess Stephanie will give birth to her second child, which means Prince Charles will be a big brother soon.Â

Since he turned two years old in 2022, Prince Charles has been accompanying his parents to public engagements. His most recent appearances were visits to the home cares of elderly. Prince Charles always brought delight to the elderly during the visit.Â

In January this year, the Hereditary Grand Duke and Hereditary Grand Duchess brought with them their son during a visit to Servior Op der Leier, an elderly home in the town of Luxembourg.Â

In February, Prince Charles brought sunshine to the elderly once more when he accompanied his parents to an elderly home in Mamer, Luxembourg.Â

Since the pandemic time, Prince Guillaume and Princess Stephanie have been regularly visiting the elderly communities around Luxembourg to keep the residents company and make them happy during trying times. And little Prince Charles is more than a walking sunshine to them, he gives them joy and energy.Â
