Royal Fashion:

At the banquet, the royals glittered in magnificent evening gowns, sparkling jewelry, and tiaras. Here is what they wore and the names of their exquisite head toppers.

The Danish royal sisters, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, Princess Benedikte of Sayn-Wettgentesin-Berleburg, and Queen Anne-Marie (former consort of Greece) wore repeat gowns which looked like their favorite ensembles as we often saw them repeating these magnificent dresses on different occasions.

Princess Benedikte also wore a repeat dress from Johnny Alexander Wichmann and a diamond fringe tiara, a family heirloom from her husband's Berleburg noble family.

It's pretty interesting to see the fashionable dresses of the younger royals to see how they developed their own sense of style as they prepared to undertake full-time royal duties.

The Princess of Orange, Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands, wore a cobalt blue cape dress from Essentiel Antwerp, blue pumps from Manolo Blahnik, and the convertible Queen Wilhelmina Sapphire Tiara (with matching bracelets, necklace, and earrings). It was the first time that Amalia wore the said tiara, which can be worn as a necklace.

Princess Elisabeth paired her dress with a pair of matching silver satin opera gloves, and a pair of pumps from Giorgio Armani, and completed her regal look with a Diamond Wolfer Tiara.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra is known to borrow her mother's outfits to be worn when attending public events. For example, the dresses she wore during her 18th birthday gala dinner in 2022, and the sleeveless navy dress during her official 18th birthday portrait, were previously worn by her mother.

She seems to be the thriftiest and most sustainable among the young princesses in Europe today. And she does not mind borrowing her mother's dresses, even blazers and accessories, which is good! Princess Ingrid Alexandra also wore her 18th birthday tiara gift from her grandfather, the Princess Ingeborg diamond loop tiara.

Without Tiaras:

Traditionally, young royals who are below 18 years old never wear a tiara. So the teen princesses at Prince Christian's birthday gala dinner did not wear a crown/tiara. But they come in full force wearing beautiful ensembles.

The two younger sisters of Prince Christian attended the celebration in contrasting sense of style but equally gorgeous. Princess Isabella, 16, wore a cobalt blue gown from Safiyaa with a scarf which she wrapped around her neck to come up with a dramatic look. Her younger sister, Princess Josephine, wore a navy blue jumpsuit from Jesper Hovring and a pair of gold pumps.

Countess Athena of Monpezat, formerly Princess Athena of Denmark, the only daughter of Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, wore a cute sequin pink dress from designer Grace Karin.
