As this season is all about family reunions and togetherness, here are this year's family Christmas Cards sent by the royal houses in Europe.

House of Windsor in the United Kingdom. Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla used their Coronation Portrait as their Christmas Card photo this year The House of Glucksburg of Norway sends their Christmas Card. Their Majesties King Harald V and Queen Sonja are joined by Crown Prince Haakon and his two children, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus. Crown Princess Mette-Marit couldn't attend the photo session due to COVID-19. This photo was taken at the Royal Lodge near Oslo, the family's home every Christmas   House of Orange. As King Philippe of the Belgians marks his 10th year as monarch, the Belgian Royal Palace also shared their first family photo for their very first royal Christmas Card in 2013 on the King's accession year House of Bourbon in Spain.    Non-Reigning Royal Houses Royals from the Non-reigning royal houses in Europe also shared their Christmas Card. The Royal Houses of Glucksburg (former Greek royal House) and Romanov (former Russian imperial House).  Former Greek royal family Crown Prince Pavlos and Crown Princess Marie-Chantal with their five children posed for a family photo to send their Holiday greetings. They chose a monochrome palette for their photograph similar to the Waleses.  House of Romanov Grand Duke George Romanov of Russia, son of Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna of Russia (claimant of the defunct Russian Imperial Throne) and Prince Franz Wilhelm of Prussia, shared his family's Christmas Card with a photo of his one-year-old son, Prince Alexander Georgievich Romanov, who was born in Moscow, Russia, in October 2022. Happy Holidays! 🎄🎉 |
