Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex rushed home to the United Kingdom after Buckingham Palace publicly announced King Charles III's cancer diagnosis. It is believed His Majesty informed his two sons about his health condition before the palace announcement.
Within 24 hours after the announcement, Prince Harry arrived in London. However, he traveled alone. His wife, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, and their two children, remained in California.

Buckingham Palace announced on Monday that the King, 75, had been diagnosed with a form of cancer and would step back from public duties for treatment.

Royal analysts commented that the relationship between Prince Harry and his father privately is always warm. However, a royal source confirmed Prince Harry's return to the UK this week did not include a visit to his brother and sister-in-law, Kate, who just underwent an abdominal surgery.Â

A day after Buckingham Palace announced His Majesty's cancer diagnosis, the King and Queen Camilla were seen in public this morning, waving to the crowd as they left Clarence House for Sandringham.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak earlier told BBC Radio 5 Live the King's cancer had been "caught early" and said he was still in "regular contact" with the monarch. He said their weekly audiences would continue to take place during the King's treatment.Â
