January 2025 is a Happy Royal Baby News in the Royal World

 


 The first month of 2025 wrapped up positively for world royals. Apart from Catherine, the Princess of Wales slowly returning to public duties after a year of health scare, the royal world welcomes two bundles of joy from two royal houses in Europe and one pregnancy announcement in the royals from the Middle East. 

Princess Iman of Jordan is expecting her first child

In Jordan, Queen Rania publicly announced her eldest daughter, Princess Iman, who married in March 2023, is expecting her first child. The Queen shared a silhouette photo of her daughter showing the baby bump. 

In the United Kingdom, Buckingham Palace confirmed that Princess Beatrice of York, who is 9th in the line of succession to the British throne, gave birth to a daughter on January 22, 2025. And the daughter is named Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli-Mozzi. Princess Beatrice's eldest child also has Elizabeth in her name, Sienna Elizabeth. All named after Queen Elizabeth II.

On January 31, the Belgian royal palace also announced that Princess Maria Laura, niece of King Philippe of the Belgians and 10th in the line of succession to the Belgian throne, gave birth to her eldest child on January 26. She named him Albert, after her grandfather, KingAlbert II of Belgium

Royal births did not end in January though because this month, February, Princess Sofia of Sweden will also give birth to her fourth child with Prince Carl Philip! Such a happy baby news from the royal world in 2025. Congratulations!
