The Prince and Princess of Wales Visit a Resort Town To Raise Funds for Mental Health

Today, the Prince and Princess of Wales take their mental health advocacy to the resort town of Scarborough in North Yorkshire, England. They visited The Street, a community hub that hosts local organizations to grow and develop their services.

The royal couple helped launch funding, in cooperation with The Royal Foundation, to support young people's mental health in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.

The Prince and Princess of Wales posted on social media, "So pleased to announce £ 345,000 of funding from The Royal Foundation and Two Ridings Community Foundation (a community hub in North and East Yorkshire), leaving a lasting legacy of support for young people's mental health here in Scarborough".

Catherine, the Princess of Wales was a vision of autumn glamor as she donned a set of gorgeous apparel that represents the Fall season: a close-neck camel midi dress with a woven waist belt from Boden, a long coat from Max&Co coat, a pair of leather pumps in caramel, and a DeMellier London handbag.

While Prince William looked dapper in a burgundy jumper in blue shirt under a navy coat jacket. The royal couple broke royal protocol when they allowed themselves to mix with the crowd, with some grabbing their arms for a photo.

Later, they met young people supported by local organizations and explained how the funding and grant decisions were made and how this funding will make a difference to young people in Scarborough.

They also met local charities who are beneficiaries of the funding. They also paid a visit the work the local charities are doing to make a difference in their community and how they benefited from local funding.
