Royal Fashion Round Up: 13 Stylish Royals For January 2023

The first month of the year opened with a blast in terms of Royal Fashion, as some of our favorite royal ladies began the year with numerous public appearances wearing stunning outfits. 

We have rounded up 15 royals who impressed us with their choices of apparel for January 2023:

1.Doña (Countess) Beatrice Borromeo-Casiraghi. As always Beatrice, a daughter of an Italian aristocrat, is one of the most stylish members of the European royals.

As the wife of Pierre Casiraghi, the nephew of Prince Albert II of Monaco who is currently 8th in the line of succession to the Monegasque throne, Beatrice often attends royal events in Monaco.

But she's also the brand ambassador of Dior and other luxury brands so she's always present on the fashion runways, especially in France.

Just this month, she attended a Dior Runway Couture Collection Show in Paris wearing Dior outfits and a black beret, and Beatrice exuded charm, epitomizing the classic Hollywood glamour! 

2. Queen Maxima of The Netherlands - Always one of the most stylish Queen consorts, the Dutch Queen showcased her sophisticated taste in fashion for the month of January alone.

We always love her sense of style.  She can pull off any dramatic looks with simple pieces and knows how to mix and match. Queen Maxima knows how to glamorize old outfits and even if she wore repeat pieces, it always appeared like a new look.

She is someone who knows her style and does not afraid to experiment with design and pattern. She wore any cut and design in bold colors and still looked good and resplendent. From trousers to midi dresses, Queen Maxima knows how to be a fashionista in the modern world.

On January 27, 2023, Queen Maxima, King Willem-Alexander, and their eldest daughter, Princess Catharina-Amalia began their Royal Caribbean Tour, and the Queen packed her suitcase with fabulous outfits.

3. Queen Letizia of Spain - Another Queen consort who knows her style is the wife of King Felipe VI of Spain. Queen Letizia who is a TV Broadcast Journalist by profession, knows what it takes to be a fashionista.

She is bold and fearless when it comes to style choices. She wore dresses like a seasoned model and does not afraid to experiment with daring looks.

Some of the pieces she wore even landed her on the hot water due to cut and looks which other royal fans thought are no longer appropriate to be worn by a Queen.

But we love how she styled her looks. And her choices of outfits always impressed us. It signifies class and sophistication with a brush of youthfulness.

On January 6, 2023, Queen Letizia wore a stunning Felipe Varela maroon dress which was a repeat outfit, at the Pascua Militar presentation in Madrid. 

Five days later, she attended an event wearing more casual attire, a brocade pencil skirt and a knit top in green from Is Coming clothing brand.

4. Princess Charlene of Monaco - The Princess Consort of Monaco is equally stunning as those Queen consorts we featured when it comes to style and fashion. 

Since returning to public life after suffering from physical and emotional exhaustion in 2021, Princess Charlene of Monaco has been gracing public events, and she also returned to her old glamorous self.

5. Catherine, the Princess of Wales. The new Princess of Wales may never replicate the style, beauty, and glamour of the late Diana, the most popular Princess of Wales, but Catherine has her own taste of fashion.

She might be mocked by others for being so vintage in her outfit choices and having a too-ordinary sense of style, but the new Princess of Wales epitomizes a stylish minimalist fashion in glamour.

And that's what makes her click and endeared to fashion analysts. Her choices of outfits are so relatable and easy to emulate. She knows how to mix and match for a certain occasion and her combination pieces are classic and sophisticated. She always added personality to her fashion choices. 

6. Queen Rania of Jordan

Queen Rania of Jordan always epitomizes glamour and class of fashion. And she always sends a message that she is always free to choose whatever attires she like to wear during public appearances.

She may wear traditional Muslim outfits during important celebrations in Jordan but most of the time she wore stunning dresses that are so in touch with the modern world. Her sense of style is always impressive and she never disappoints each time she attends public events.

7. Queen Mathilde of Belgium

Queen Mathilde often gives us the most professional look with her choices of fashion during her public appearance. She favors classic pieces at the same time modern cut.

8. Princess Maria Olympia of Greece and Denmark

The only daughter of Crown Prince Pavlos of Greece is a fashion protegee. Since graduating from New York University she worked as a model for various agencies.

In January, she posed for Vogue Spain wearing casual dresses. And we love how she projected herself as a fashion icon. 

9. Victoria Federica De Marichalar y Borbon - Some of you might have not heard of Victoria, but she is the granddaughter of King Emeritus Juan Carlos I of Spain and Queen Emerita Sofia of Spain. 

Vicky is the daughter of Infanta Elena of Spain, Duchess of Lugo, and therefore a niece of King Felipe VI of Spain. Victoria is also a fashion model and recently attended the fashion event of Dior in Paris, France.

10. Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden

Like most royals, the start of the year has been a busy month also for Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden. She attended successive public events and she wore several pieces that we love.

On January 23, she attended a Seminar hosted by the Folke Bernadotteakademin wearing a black jacket from By Malene Birger, an elbow sleeve top from a Scandinavian brand, Filippa K, and a schain skirt from Baum und Pferdgarten. She completed her stylish look with a pair of black leather boots. 

11. The Princess of Orange

Princess Catharina-Amalia began her formal public duty as heir to the Dutch throne on January 27, 2023.  She accompanied her parents, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima to the Caribbean for their 10-day Royal Caribbean Tour to introduce her as Dutch future Queen.

Princess Catharina-Amalia wore a mix of fashionable clothes during the tour. She has a penchant for maxi dresses and trousers in bold pattern and color.

12. Zara Phillips-Tindall

It's so rare to see the Queen's granddaughter, Zara, appeared in public in a delicate fashion. We often saw her wearing sports attire but in January she wore several fashion pieces while attending events in Australia.

Zara and her husband, Mike Tindall, flew to Australia in early January this year to attend the Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Carnival, a two-week equestrian extravaganza, and Zara made several appearances wearing fabulous outfits. 

13. Crown Princess Mary of Denmark 

The wife of Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark is the most fashionable wife of the heir to the throne in Europe today. She is always on point when it comes to apparel and knows how to style herself.
