Their Serene Highnesses, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco, who just celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary in July this year, continue to face controversies of separation.
Just this August, two European newspapers revealed they are living separately, with Princess Charlene allegedly secretly living in Switzerland alone, and would only come to Monaco by appointment to join Prince Albert II during public appearances.Â

This rumor however has not been substantiated and the Prince's Palace has not released any statement related to this recent controversy. In contrast, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene continued to show unity in public with their twins, Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, who will turn 9 this year.

"I'm very proud to be here with Princess Charlene to launch this beautiful adventure, this TV channel which will expand the importance of this principality throughout the world".Â
Days later, the princely couple appeared together in the grand room of the Prince's Palace to receive the new French Ambassador to Monaco, Jean D'Haussonville.
