The bride, Natacha Roumiantzoff-Pachkevitch, is said to have descended from the Russian nobility, but she is not actually a countess as some would claim.

Her paternal grandfather was not born a count as the noble Roumiantzoff line became extinct in the 19th century. Her parents are Nicolas Pierre Roumiantzeff-Pachkevitch and Maria Meeuwissen.
