On September 28, 2023, Apple CEO Tim Cook was welcomed by the Prince and Princess of Wales to Windsor  Castle for a private meeting.

The Prince and Princess of Wales didn't post snaps of the private meeting on social media but Tim Cook did, on his personal X (formerly Twitter) account.

"It was a true honor to meet with the Prince and Princess of Wales," Tim Cook captioned the two photos he posted on X. "We had a wonderful and wide-ranging discussion about the environment, mental health, and other issues that mean a great deal to all of us."

The meeting was listed in the Court Circular, the official rundown of royal engagements, as being held under the umbrella of Prince William in his role as President of the Earthshot Prize.

However, it was not the meeting between the royals and the Apple big boss that intrigued eagle-eyed fans on social media, it was the two Apple bags placed above the coffee table, that were captured  in the photo of Cook and the Prince of Wales, hinting that the Apple CEO brought Apple goodies for the Waleses.

Royal observers then presented their wild speculations on what could be the goodies inside the Apple bags. With some guessing the new iPhone 15 or even brand new Apple watches. 😄

Some pondered: "What are in the Apple bags? New phones?", "Delivering iphone 15s in person?". Others doubted the contents as royals lately never accept gifts.

In reality, members of the public have no idea what brand of mobile phone the royals used, no one spotted them bringing one in public.

By the way, speaking of Earthshot Prize, it's revealed that the Princess of Wales won't be accompanying Prince William this coming November in Singapore where the annual awarding ceremony for this year will be held. She will be staying behind in the Adelaide Cottage in Windsor to be with their three children in time for the exam week.
