The Princess of Asturias stood regally in her military uniform alongside her parents, King Felipe VI of Spain and Queen Letizia as they attended a military parade during Spain's National Day celebration.

The 17-year-old future queen exuded pride as she donned her cadet uniform of the Spanish Military Academy in Zaragoza completing her attire with a red beret.
Personnel from the Armed Forces, Civil Guard, National Police and Maritime Rescue participate alongside ground vehicles and aircraft.
The event begins with the arrival of the King and Queen - the King inspecting the troops and greeting members of the government.
Spectacles seen during the parade were the descent of a parachuter bearing a Spanish flag, the Spanish Legion marching with their pet goat, the solemn raising of the National Flag, which pays tribute to those who have died for their country, and the flypast of the Spanish Air Force.
After the Spanish anthem was played, King Felipe VI reviewed the troops. The princess, who will be 18 at the end of this month, had spent all week rehearsing for four hours a day, local media reported.
The event comes after Princess Leonor took part in the flag swearing-in ceremony at the General Military Academy attended by the King and Queen.
